OPTICON logo

The call for proposals for telescopes supported by the OPTICON Trans-National Access (TNA) programme has been released for their 2021-2022 semester. The Liverpool Telescope is included in the TNA programme, and instructions for applying for LT time are given in the OPTICON call below:

We are pleased to announce that the 2021B call for observing time at optical/IR telescopes supported by the forthcoming OPTICON-Radionet Pilot project is now open. See: https://www.astro-opticon.org/h2020/tna/call/call-2021b.html.

The call will close on 1 March 2021 at 23.59UT. Please review the web-page notes carefully. Note there is a new latex template which confirms 11pt as the smallest font size and asks proposers to confirm that they have checked for data in public archives. Please use the box called related publications on the final tab of the web form to illustrate the productivity of your group as appropriate.

This semester will be supported under the new OPTICON-Radionet Pilot project which is expected to start on 1 March 2021. From a 2021B user's point of view we expect the conditions of this new contract to be almost identical to previous calls. A move towards some combined optical and radio projects will take place over the next two years.

Good Luck
